Purpose of Role:

We are looking for an up-and-coming sales professional to work in our Specialty Retail division. In this role you will be responsible for a territory/portfolio that you will have to prospect into and generate new business as well as follow-up on and manage leads brought in by marketing. This position carries a quota and competitive variable compensation on top of a base salary. You will play a critical role in expanding on iQmetrix’s customer base of 20,000 retail locations.

Accountabilities:

  • Growing our sales pipeline and driving new revenue opportunities
  • Capturing, maintaining, and sharing accurate and relevant sales information, utilizing Hubspot CRM
  • Identifying potential customers though phone and emails inquiries
  • Communicating with leads and prospects and working closely with them to understand their objectives, priorities, and timelines
  • Energetically follow up with qualified leads and prospects, and provide compelling product demonstrations to gain new business
  • Learning and thoroughly understanding our products and services
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quotas

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of quota carrying software or technology sales as an individual contributor
  • 1+ years of outbound prospecting experience
  • Industry knowledge and/or vertical expertise in Retail and/or Retail Technology
  • Proven track record for communicating unique value propositions to potential clients and closing sales
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter, and have a competitive personality
  • Proven ability to drive new business through prospecting, outbound lead generation, and closing sales
  • Open-minded, willing to learn, and determined to succeed
  • Positive attitude and work well with others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (phone, video, email, in-person)
  • Travel 10-20% within Canada and the US
