Software Developer – Payments

We are growing the Payment Processing team to build out and support an exciting new product that we will bring to our enterprise Wireless customers and has significant potential to grow our platform and user base to be 10x what it is today!  We are in the midst of planning the architecture of this new system including integrations to banks and other partners, front end and back end interfaces, microservices, highly available storage solutions, inter-service communication patterns, RESTful APIs and containerized deployments.  We are looking for motivated developers who bring some expertise and a willingness to learn new domains and technologies with us.


This role is accountable for developing software solutions in the Payment Processing business space.  This can include back end services like our Payment Gateway, pinpad / terminal integrations in our client side payment application, as well as web services and applications for both user facing and internal tooling to configure and support our systems.  Developers on this team are highly collaborative, writing secure and highly tested code for this mission critical system. 


  • Writing software solutions that meet product requirements and improve the stability and security of our platform
  • Writing Tests (unit, regression, system, acceptance) as required for the solution integrity
  • Documenting APIs changed or created
  • Reviewing code when requested by your team
  • Submitting your code changes for review once all Tests are passing for the impacted solution
  • Supporting the Payments team with technical details required to complete their tasks
  • Investigating and resolving defects found in Payments software solutions.
  • Provides meaningful feedback, actively seeks feedback from others.


  • Around 4-5 years’ experience writing software solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • C#, .NET or any high level language
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (react, angular, vue, etc)
  • Knowledge of testing patterns, and when to apply them
  • An understanding of Design Patterns, and practical usage of them


  • Any banking or retail payment processing software experience
  • eCommerce payments
  • Familiarity with secure development practices, encryption patterns, OWASP top 10
  • PCI requirements for handling of cardholder data
